About Us
Deer Valley Charter Schools, Inc. is a non-profit charter organization. It was originally created as an evening high school through the auspices of the Deer Valley School District in the fall of 2001 to help support the educational needs of the community. Growing consistently over the years, it has become fully independent and self-governing serving the Deer Valley Community.
Deer Valley Academy’s academic program has been specifically designed to provide choices for students who are in need of a small, caring, learning environment. The school offers a comprehensive course selection that meets state standards and college entrance requirements. Students need 22 credits to graduate. It also offers a variety of elective programs including art, physical education, psychology, humanities and computer science. One on one tutoring is also available to students.
